Cultural Notes

Plant material was supplied rooted plugs. Plugs were transplanted to 10-cm pots in Fafard and grown on for approximately 3 weeks. Finished plants were then transplanted and trialed in raised beds and fertigated as needed. White spots that resembled spidermite damage were present, but plant were not infested with spidermites. Plants were infested with garden fleahoppers. Imidicloprid and acephate are effective controls. Follow label directions and local pesticide restrictions.
