It’s been a while since we’ve updated our blog! But there’s been a lot going on. Here’s a small sampling of some of the things that have happened since our last update. Apps
We continue to expand our app offerings available for Extension professionals and clientele. For a list of our current iOS apps, visit http://techoutreach.msucares.com/apps. We’re also excited to announce we will have more Android apps soon!
- New: Android version of the Cattle Calc app. (iOS version also available)
- New: Mississippi Phosphorus Index webapp developed for a grant with MSU Civil Engineering, NCRS, and USDA.
- Update: Updated version of the iOS Deer Hunt app, as well as an Android version – and there are discussions of taking it nationwide!
- New: Early Years Network app. For more info on this organization, visit the Early Years Network website.

- Update: The MS Profiles app was updated with new census information.

Web Outreach
Our web outreach team, lead by Sarah Pittman, continues to roll out introductory websites for communities and organizations in need of their first web presence. There are many underserved organizations and governments in our state without a web presence at all, and we’re working to get everyone online! Here’s a small sampling of sites that have gone live:

Extension Websites
Our internal web team has also been busy with new site launches, here’s a few:
- New: Mississippi Women for Agriculture website
- Update: A new Logger Education website was launched!
- Update: The Corn Promotion Board website was converted from a static HTML site to a responsive WordPress site for easier updating.
- New: We worked with the Delta Ag Expo on a new website!
- New: We worked with the Mississippi Distance Learning Association on their website
- New: Crosby Arboretum has a new website!
