APPLICATION PERIOD: 05/02/2016 – 05/31/2016
ELIGIBILITY: Current CRP Enrollment
PURPOSE: (Under authority of the 2014 Farm Bill)
Encourage tree thinning
Improve condition of resources
Promote forest management
Enhance wildlife habitat
THINNING INCENTIVE:
$150/acre for thinning
(Any thinning operations completed since 10/22/2015 are eligible)
Required Secondary Practices and Incentives:
$25/acre for prescribed burning
$25/acre for disking
$100/acre for chemical woody & herbaceous plant control
$125/acre for mechanical woody plant control
